Wymondham Furniture Warehouse - Online Order Collection Policy

This Collection Policy outlines the procedures and timeframes for collecting goods purchased online from Wymondham Furniture Warehouse. By completing an online purchase, you agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Notification and Readiness

1.1 Confirmation: You will receive an initial email confirmation of your order immediately after purchase. 1.2 Ready for Collection: Once your item(s) have been inspected, prepared, and are ready for collection, you will receive a second, mandatory email titled "Order Ready for Collection." 1.3 Do Not Travel: Please DO NOT attempt to collect your order until you have received the "Order Ready for Collection" email.

2. Mandatory Collection Timeframe

2.1 Standard Collection Window: All goods purchased online must be collected within 14 calendar days from the date the "Order Ready for Collection" email is sent.

2.2 Booking Required: Collection is by appointment only to ensure staff are available to assist and your items are ready. Details on how to book are in Section 3.

3. Arranging Your Collection

3.1 Collection Location: Wymondham Furniture Warehouse 5 Ayton Rd, Wymondham NR18 0QJ

4. On the Day of Collection

4.1 Required Documentation: For security and verification, you must present the following upon arrival:

  • The "Order Ready for Collection" email (printed or on a mobile device).

  • Photo ID matching the name on the order (e.g., Driver's License or Passport).

  • The payment card used for the online purchase (optional, but may be requested for large orders).

4.2 Loading and Vehicle Suitability:

  • Customers are fully responsible for ensuring their vehicle is adequately sized and suitable for the safe transportation of the purchased item(s).

  • Customers are responsible for safely loading and securing the goods into their vehicle. Our staff may assist but accept no liability for damage caused to the goods, vehicle, or persons during the loading process.

  • Please bring adequate blankets, straps, and securing materials.

4.3 Inspection: All goods must be briefly inspected by the customer or their representative before leaving the premises. Once the goods have left the premises, Wymondham Furniture Warehouse accepts no liability for transit damage.

5. Failure to Collect within the Timeframe

5.1 Late Collection / Storage Fees: If the purchased goods are not collected within the initial 14-day window, we reserve the right to apply a storage fee of £5.00 per item, per day, effective from the 15th day.

5.2 Extended Failure to Collect: If the goods remain uncollected and storage fees are unpaid for a total period of 30 calendar days from the "Order Ready for Collection" email date, Wymondham Furniture Warehouse reserves the right to:

  1. Cancel the sale.

  2. Refund the original purchase price, less any accrued storage fees and a 10% re-stocking and administrative charge.

  3. Re-list the item for sale.

5.3 Authority to Collect: If you designate a third party (e.g., a courier or friend) to collect the goods on your behalf, you must notify us in advance via email, providing the third party’s name and vehicle details. The third party must also present the documents listed in section 4.1.
